To Operate a Friends of the Poor ^®Walk, please complete the following form. This information will enable walkers and sponsors to identify your local walk and contact information, and will be posted on the website map of the US. In the comments section, include as much information as possible to help walkers with details. Have Fun!

TIPS AND IDEAS:

· Invite the parish school and whole parish to join the walk

· Invite the neighboring college or university faculty and students to participate, or even operate the walk with them on their campus or sporting venue

· Invite neighboring community churches to participate with your Conference to raise money for the entire community’s poor

· Even if your Council is not operating a larger organized walk, your Conference is free to operate its own walk to raise money directly for your Conference

· Even during a Capital Campaign, operating a walk will generate and mobilize many new participants and volunteers to SVDP Conferences and Councils
